What is Etobicoke Spotlight?
Etobicoke Spotlight is a monthly video series I host featuring a local business owner, community figure, or someone whose work makes Etobicoke a better place to live.
Every month, I sit down with someone in their space, a restaurant, a studio, a community centre, and we talk about what they do, why they do it here, and what's great (and tough) about serving this neighbourhood.
Why I do it
Honestly? Two reasons. First, because the small businesses in Etobicoke are some of the best in Toronto, and they deserve more attention than they get. Second, because the more people know about what's in their neighbourhood, the more they want to stay, and helping people feel rooted in Etobicoke is part of why I got into this work.
The whole thing is free. The business gets a polished video, exposure to my audience, a permanent feature on this site, and a backlink to their site. No catch, no upsell.

Nominate a business (or yourself) by email. Tell me a bit about them, what they do, where they are, what makes them special. I read every one.
